8 Ways to Silence the Haters

Haters gonna hate!! Your journey to physical fitness is a personal one. You hold it dear to your heart, you nurture it and you are dedicated. But there is always going to be someone (or two) who isn’t going to support this journey. Why? Presumably they are envious of your dedication and will power. Something maybe they don’t have or see in themselves so they try and sabotage your efforts. Here are some things you can do to thwart their negativity.
  • Ask them to come to the gym with you and give it a go for themselves
  • Explain to them why you are working so hard, if someone knows your reasoning it may make them understand and it let go
  • Don’t be afraid to tell them that their negativity isn’t welcomed
  • If these people continue to try and sabotage your goals – it may be wise to take a “time out” from them
  • Lead by example and stay the course
  • Surround yourself with like-minded people
  • Results will speak for themselves once you have reached your goal you may reassess your “friend” line up
  • Haters gonna hate, but you don’t have to participate!!!
