80-year-old Salsa Dancer

Britain’s Got Talent, with this season’s judges Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, David Walliams, and of course, the ornery Simon Cowell, has been full of impressive acts and sometimes surprising displays of talent. This salsa-dancing duo, 80-year-old Paddy, and her partner Nico, definitely fall into this category of acts. OH. MY. GOD. I mean… I really don’t even have words to describe how awesome that was. Amanda’s reaction was probably the best, she was just so incredibly vocal the whole time, and they even managed to get an apology from Simon for buzzing them off too early. Which was probably my favourite part honestly, that glare they gave him.   It just goes to show that a) it’s never too late to follow our dreams, and b) physical activity is the secret to a long life, a long acrobatic life.
