Apple Pie Bites

I love these kinds of protein packed snack balls; they're tasty, easy, and good for you - and these ones taste like an apple pie! Ingredients:
  • 1 cup dates, pitted and chopped
  • 1 cup dried apple rings (click for recipe)
  • 1 cup cashews
  • ¾ cup oats
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp nutmeg
  • dash of sea salt
Directions:
  1. Add dates and apple rings to food processor and blend until small
  2. Add in cashews and process until all ingredients come together
  3. Add in oats and spices, blend until well combined.
  4. Roll into small balls.
This recipe makes about 20 balls. Store in fridge or freezer. You could probably make these with regular apples if you don’t have apple rings, nor have the patience to make apple rings, they’d just be a bit more moist.
