Ariana Grande: Police Investigation Regarding Video Donut Licking
Ariana Grande caused concern for multiple reasons after being filmed licking donuts and, apparently, dissing America.
The 22-year-old pop princess was spotted in a donut shop in California licking desserts that were left unprotected. This has prompted health officials to investigate the conditions of the donut shop, called Wolfee Donuts. The shop has reportedly been investigated before for negligence to health laws.
As for Ariana's anti-American remarks? The singer has issued an apology after TMZ made the video a viral hit.
"I am EXTREMELY proud to be an American and I've always made it clear that I love my country," Ariana stated.
She claims the video took her remarks out of context and the story was spun out of control. She did not explain the reason she made the comments about her country. Some Youtube commenters are outraged, or disappointed in the star.
"Another celebrity gone bad." says one former fan.
Ariana has suffered some backlash from the incident, but will this video spell out the end of the singer's reign over the radio airwaves? Well, she has certainly left a bad taste in the donut shop owner's mouth. Apparently, Ari didn't purchase any of her licked donuts, was acting immaturely and was reportedly very rude to the staff.
