In one of my other series of articles (Strange But True Fitness Tips #16), I talked about how drinking caffeine before a 20-minute power nap is one of the best ways to increase energy levels post-siesta. It doesn't actually stop you from being sleepy, but it basically prevents your brain from picking up the tired signals. The soothing warmth of the coffee will help you to doze off, and when you wake up, you'll have a lot more energy. According to a study done in Japan, not only will a caffeine nap help boost energy levels, but it will help to improve brain and cognitive function!
