Ballet Has A "Bad Boy" and He's Taking Us to Church In Hozier's New Video

WARNING: This video may cause intense goose bumps and involuntary sighs. We cannot be held responsible for your decline in productivity due to the addictive nature of this content, or the fact that you will likely need to wipe drool off of your chin when you are done watching it. You've been warned Meet Sergei Polunin, the bad boy rock star of the ballet world and arguably one of the world's best dancers. Vimeo released Hozier's 'Take Me To Church' music video last week, and the 25 -year-old tattooed Ukrainian native is the main attraction. [caption id="attachment_67420" align="alignnone" width="800"]Source: Vimeo Source: Vimeo[/caption] Whether it's the tattoos, his already notorious reputation, or the sheer awesomeness of his athleticism and skill---the internet is ablaze with talk about it. The video, directed by David LaChapelle, shows the Ballerino in nothing but a pair of nude tights dancing in a wide open space (presumably a church?) to the ballad. If 'Footloose' and Sia's 'Chandelier' had a lovechild, this music video would be their baby. Polunin, a former dancer in Britain's Royal Ballet, is now in Moscow with the Stanislavsky Music Theatre. You can also catch him starring in Marc Jacobs Campaign's. What do you think BodyRocker's? Does this change your perspective on ballet dancers, because this video is kind of amazing!
