I really love protein smoothies for more of a meal replacement. It keeps me from getting hungry before my next meal because they are so nutrient dense and I don't crave anything sweet because they have that built right in. (banana/blueberries) It keeps a meal in a controlled amount of calories also.
Quick and simple.
Frozen Blueberries 1/2-1 c
1/2 c milk
1/3 c water
1 scoop clean vanilla whey based protein
ice if desired
Combine all of the ingredients in a blender and blend. If you try it without ice you may find that the blueberries make it slush up. If you want more icy consistency than add a bit of ice.
