Food To Be Fit: Not-Your-Basic Protein Pan-Cake

This recipe makes two average-sized pancakes, or one gigantic not-even-normal sized pancake. I like mine with banana, blueberries and a bit of maple syrup. Test out these delicious pancakes out and let me know which fruits you like to add! ingredients

  • 1 scoop chocolate casein protein
  • 2/3 cup egg whites + 1 yolk
  • 1 heaping tbsp cottage cheese
  • 1/2 cup oatmeal
  • Fresh Blueberries/Banana
  • 1 tsp maple syrup/nut butter
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  1. Blend protein, eggs, cottage cheese, and oatmeal in a blender or food processor.
  2. Heat pan on medium-low and pour mixture in. Cover for 3 minutes and place fruit & cinnamon on top. Re-cover the pan.
  3. Flip when you feel comfortable that the pancake will not break when moving. A pancake is ready to flip when the edges are set, and the top is not wiggling around in the pan anymore (I feel like I'm playing Russian Roulette every time I make these).PuyLD1mb1Kn_Tm4ErGwqCjVLAfY6uyLtk1haoQAFMSM
  4. Heat for 2 minutes on the other side. When it easily moves around in the pan, it is done.
  5. Plate the pancake and garnish with fresh fruit. Drizzle with maple syrup, or nut butter.
  6. Eat it!!! :)
