Beginner Challenge | Day 3
Not enough of us stretch. Many of us are so preoccupied with working up a sweat that we forget to balance our workouts with stretching exercises. Stretching is a vital part of overall fitness. It helps prevent injury and increases our range of motion, which in turn will help with muscle development. It is also a great way to unwind, relax and get in touch with our bodies. Ideally, you should try stretching every single day. You don’t have to commit to an hour long yoga class. The stretching exercises we’ve put together for you today are comprehensive and don’t take a lot of time. Be mindful not to push yourself too far in these stretches. Listen to your body and only go as far as you can.
