Bindi Irwin: Her Words About Her Dad Will Leave You Speechless

Bindi Irwin was once the young child who lost her famous father, 'Crocodile Hunter' Steve Irwin, in 2006. Steve was attacked viciously by a stingray while filming for his daughter's television show, and Bindi's bravery and spirit left a mark on audiences who were grieving over the wildlife adventurer's death. Now Bindi is 17, and has joined the star-studded cast of Dancing With The Stars. Scoring the first perfect 10 of the season, Bindi is proud of what she's accomplished. But she doesn't go a day without thinking of her father. In this emotional speech, Bindi reveals how Steve impacted her entire life. "For the rest of my life, I'll kind of feel like he's going to come home. I wish he could fully understand how much he's done for me. And that I miss him." It was hard for Bindi to keep the tears from falling as she performed her emotional dance in honour of her dad. The audience was extremely moved by her tribute. I'm sure Steve was watching as well, and cheering her on as he always did. What are your thoughts? Can you relate to Bindi's journey? Source: Today Do you follow us on Instagram?
