BodyRock Elevate – Day 1 – Full Body HIIT

Hi BodyRockers, Welcome to BodyRock Elevate. These are short sharp workouts guaranteed to build lean muscle and burn fat fast.

Today's Motivation: I have been writing a lot lately about being yourself, accepting who you are, and being comfortable in your own skin. Being true to yourself is not an easy task.That struggle is part of the journey to discovering your truth and claiming it as your own. A lot of people think being true to yourself is a negative thing. That you’re being selfish, self-centered even. These thoughts are just way off the mark.

Imagine a time when you’ve felt your best. When you’ve really felt on top of the world. If you want to feel like you're on top of the world again try this! Live by choice, not by chance, to make changes, not excuses, to be motivated, not manipulated, to be useful, not used. Choose self esteem, not pity. Choose to listen to your inner voice, not the random opinion of other . Sometimes we get lost of who we are are because of other people in our lives. It can happen so fast sometimes you don't even know where the slide all began.

You compromise yourself and do things that are not genuine or a reflection of the real you.You'll be confused because you won't know whom to please, or how and will hurt your self esteem.  Be who you are! Have the courage to accept yourself as you really are, not as as someone else thinks you should be. Do not take action or pretend to be someone else for the sake of gaining acceptance. For each workout, go as heavy as you can & push as hard as you can through each round until the final BEEP.

Workout Breakdown:

Set your Interval Timers to 50 seconds work & 10 seconds rest. Complete the following circuit 3 x through.

  1. Drop It Like It's Hot
  2. L Push Ups - L&R Alternate
  3. Ski Abs
  4. 1 Leg Push Up Turn & Drop - L&R Alternate
