Booty Busting Series--Best Exercises to Build that Butt #14: Step-Ups
It's time to get back to the basics with this classic exercise! It's one of the first exercises that trainers teach newbie gymgoers, as it's fairly easy to learn properly. There is very little equipment needed, and you can do it pretty much anywhere.
The beauty of step-ups is that most of the work is done by the glutes and quads. The focus is mainly on these two muscles, though your hamstrings do a bit of the work. You can usually add a pretty good amount of weight to your workout without straining yourself, and you'll feel the burn in your legs and glutes!
