Boxing Interval Workout
Boxing is an excellent way to get in a great workout. The start-stop form of exercise known as interval training is an effective way to develop overall cardiovascular fitness and help prevent cardiovascular disease. The health benefits of boxing for the cardiovascular system include reduced risk of heart disease, reduced blood pressure and reduced risk of stroke. You can do this simple boxing workout with a heavy bag or without. Either way you will work your core, arms, legs and cardiovascular system.
Boxing Tabata:
50 seconds of work and 10 seconds of rest Complete all exercises 2 times through
- Alternating Cross Punches
- Knee Kicks
- Alternating Side Kicks
- Alternating front jabs
- Alternating Front Kicks
- Alternating Uppercuts
- Alternating Side Jabs
- Alternating Back Kicks
- Cross, Jab, Uppercut Combo
