No way you're escaping without the tan lines from hell. But that hasn't stopped the cutout bathing suits known as the slashkini from becoming one of the hottest summer looks on the beach. It can be extremely flattering, focusing the eye on the slimmest part of the waist with its clever arrangement of the straps. But make no mistake, there is the glamour factor. Something about the slashkini oozes Monte Carlo or a Greek resort, lounging poolside without worrying about tan lines or when your next Aperol Spritzer is going to be delivered. European celebs have been seen all over the beaches in the suit in all its forms.
