Breastfeeding Model Mom Sarah Stage Doesn't Sweat the Haters

"Six-Pack Mom" Sarah Stage has a message for those who oppose her recent Instagram photo of her breastfeeding her two-month old son, James Hunter: “Just unfollow me.” Stage, a model of Costa Rican and European descent, garnered national attention during her pregnancy for her taut form and what appeared to be a less than average weight gain. According to the 30-year-old Stage, she gained 28 pounds in her pregnancy, which is considered a healthy weight gain by the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. But not everyone was convinced. Though, she continued to post Instagram photos of her tiny bump throughout her pregnancy, she received an outpouring of criticism and others questioning whether she was actually even pregnant. Others accused her of photoshopping her own pregnancy photos, even after her son was born weighing 8 pounds and 7 ounces. But if all publicity is good publicity, Sarah Stage is cashing in. The breastfeeding photo she posted on Instagram on Friday with the caption “If you don’t like this pic, just unfollow me. No need to hate on a beautiful moment with my son #normalizebreastfeeding.” has received over 51,000 likes. And while her self-confidence may be admirable, there is also another reason Sarah Stage wants your attention. Her latest project is the launch of a new line of sexy maternity dresses for the retail site Want My Look. Should model moms who make a living from displaying their bodies keep them under wraps during pregnancy or is it all part of the business?
