Canada D'eh Festivities: OTD

It's that time of year again! Time to pull out your red and white, and take patriotic to another level. Its Canada Day! To enjoy today's festivities I've decked out in my own twist of red and white - take a little vintage, mix it with some jacked up DIY's, add some red lipstick and you've got my version of Canada day attire. Screen Shot 2013-07-01 at 1.09.19 PM Shirt: My dad's old plaid shirt from when he was a teenager - I love thrifting and especially love raiding my parents closets to search for hidden gems like this! Shorts: Studded cut offs - Okay so I may have cheated a bit and didn't actually put the studs in myself but it definitely could be done! - Because I love distressed jeans I'm often cutting them into shorts once the wear and tear on the legs transforms into massive holes. - To revamp a pair of old cut offs punch in some studs into a pattern around the pockets or seam lines Eyes: Rimmel Exaggerate eye liner in 100% Black and Maybelline Expert Wear eye shadow in Emerald Smokes - To add to the edgy look I did a classic pinup look with thin cat liner and a subtle smokey eye (keyword subtle) Lips: Artistry Perfect Moisture Lip Color in Matador Nails: Quo by Orly in #1 Red and Unstoppable Crush So whether you're hitting up a parade, the beach or a bbq make sure to feature a little red and white in your outfit. Have an amazing Canada Day!
