Cara Delevingne And The Modelling Industry
Cara Delevingne is FURIOUS with the modelling industry. Why? Because she's appalled by the pressures modelling agencies put on girls to stay thin. She used to get angry when people threatened to drop her from jobs if she was spotted heavier or enjoying a night out. Today, many models are under pressure from agents and designers. Models are being forced into extreme measures to conceal their weight.
Cara is a 22 year-old supermodel who took after her elder sister Poppy, 29 who started landing jobs while she was studying at school. She admits that modelling isn't always easy and at first, she felt like a caged animal. She joked: 'I was like an animal in a cage. I didn't know where the camera was, and I would just move around.'
The Hollywood star is making a name for herself. Having appeared in Anna Karenina and The Face of an Angel and is set to star in Pan and Paper Towns this year. Currently, Cara is in the midst of re-branding herself as a Hollywood star.
Cara has been praised for her extraordinary talent and will continue to change the face of modelling through imperfections with pride.
Do you agree that the modelling industry is horrible and demeaning?
