Cauliflower Pizza Crust
When you're having a pizza craving, but want to stay low-carb or gluten-free, here is a great recipe for cauliflower pizza crust.
INGREDIENTS
- 2-3 cups riced cauliflower (about half a head, or 1 small head)
- ½ - 1 cup grated mozzarella cheese
- Spices (basil, oregano, garlic powder, parsley, etc.)
- 1 egg
- Pizza toppings
DIRECTIONS
Bonus Tips:
You can use a food processor rather than grating the cauliflower, just make sure not to over-process into mush.
It says to let cool completely, make sure to reeeeally follow that guideline. Trying to wring out the cauliflower when it’s hot is just going to burn your hands. I put mine in the fridge for a good long while before attempting.
I made a few smaller pizzas rather than one big one since I read that the middle can get a bit droopy, since it really isn’t a bread substance – plus I just really like mini pizzas.
