Chic Soccer Mom Gwen Stefani Admits She Gets A Lot Of Hired Help

When I first saw this - my initial thought was - gee, I certainly don't look like that when I am out and about with my kids. Bright red lipstick? Nails? Done up hair? Um, no, except for maybe the sneakers. :) Being a mom I was interested in how she looks like she does with three kiddos, and I was happy to read this from Gwen:

'I don't want people to think that I could do these things without having all the help I have,' Gwen said on balancing her family and busy work life in an interview for Fashion Magazine's March issue.

'I have a full-time assistant. I have nannies. I have tutors. I have housekeepers and managers and an army of people,' she added. 'Even then, someone still suffers every day.'

I found that refreshing! Being a mom of 2 kids who only works part time, I find it hard to get everything done, and give everyone enough attention and I have NO help! Here is more about Gwen and damn, she does look good.   Soccer mom chic! Gwen Stefani is glam as ever as she cradles a sleepy Apollo while watching sons Kingston and Zuma have a kickabout

She rarely leaves the house without a splash of crimson lipstick.

And Saturday was no different as Gwen Stefani - looking as polished and coiffed as ever - accompanied her boys to a football game in Los Angeles.

The 45-year-old singer cradled her youngest son Apollo as she watched her two eldest; Kingston, 13 and Zuma, six, burn-off some energy out on the field.

Gwen sported paint splattered cuffed jeans and comfy Adidas flats which she teamed with a snug black polo-neck sweater and bomber jacket.

She rocked fifties screen siren curls, retro black shades and her signature red lip, of course.

Her 11-month-old tot sat comfortably in a front-facing baby carrier and showed off some trendy little trainers on his feet.

Even with all the action out on the pitch the little one couldn't help but nod-off partway through the outing.

What a handful: The 45-year-old watched her energetic boys; Kingston, 13 and Zuma, six, have a kick about as she cradled 11-month-old Apollo

With husband Gavin Rossdale absent on the excursion there's no doubt Gwen had her hands full, although the Don't Speak crooner recently admitted she gets lots of help at home.

Less than a year after giving birth to her third child, Gwen has been busier than ever over the past few months.

Even her blanket's cool: The No Doubt vocalist was seen laying out a brightly coloured blanket to sit on
Nap time: The glamourous mother-of-three looked on while an exhausted Apollo nodded off

Retro style: The former Voice judge wore her hair in classic curls with her signature red lip

She finished up a stint as a judge on The Voice - subbing for a pregnant Christina Aguilera - and has been working on her first solo album since releasing Sweet Escape in 2006.

'I'm really excited about a song I just did called Lifting You which is kind of cute,' Gwen told Fashion. 'It's a little bit of a reggae track.'

'I also did this track that Sia wrote for me called Start A War. It's about not picking a fight in a relationship,' the Just A Girl singer added.

Others working with Gwen on the upcoming album include Calvin Harris, Ryan Tedder, and Charlie XCX.
