Chocolate Coconut Banana Protein Smoothie

This is one of my favorite chocolate protein shakes that I enjoy. It is a great pre-workout or post-workout smoothie, or just when you are needing that little extra pick-me-up throughout the day. The coconut water in this makes for a refreshing and hydrating smoothie, while the chocolate coconut flavor helps to satisfy those sugar cravings! You will need: - 3 large frozen bananas - 1 can of coconut water (about 17.5 fl. oz) - 2 scoops of chocolate protein powder (I am partial to vegan powders myself, but any will do) - 1/4 cup organic shredded coconut - 2 tbsp. raw cacao powder - about a 1/2 cup of water Instructions: You will want to break up the frozen bananas into your blender first, then pour in the coconut water. Add in the remaining ingredients, then blend until smooth and creamy! Depending on the size of your frozen bananas, you may need to add more water, or omit the water altogether if the smoothie blends fine without it. Top with shredded coconut and raw cacao nibs and drink up!
