Clean Eating Protein Waffles
This week I have been working and tweaking my recipe for clean eating Protein waffles. It has taken a few different tries to get it right, but I think I have finally perfected the batter so that it does not fall apart on the waffle iron.
¼ cup coconut flour
¼ cup oat flour
¼ cup wheat flour
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 scoop cinnamon bun whey protein
1 cup organic milk
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp baking powder
Combine all ingredients and mix until smooth. There will be a few lumps left and that is okay. Spray a hot waffle iron with non-stick cooking spray and slowly pour batter onto the iron. If your iron does not have a timer, cook 3 minutes on each side. The picture below is my actual waffles before I ate them all! YUM!
