Coachella Workout

Every year Coachella music festival invades the place that I live. Coachella, if you haven’t heard of it is a huge music festival that is held in Indio, CA each year. For my generation it’s the closest thing we have to Woodstock or any other big music festival. Coachella is one of those events you want to look your best at and every year it’s important to get in killer shape for this festival. Since it is a three day event, you get to really show off your body by wearing clothes that accentuate your assets. So I decided to create a regime and workout to get in shape for Coachella music festival. If you have a big event coming up feel free to use this workout to get in great shape for it. coachella workout Music Festival Regime 1. When you wake up in the morning drink 1 liter of water before you eat anything. This will get your body ready for the day and flush out all the toxins that have been in you all night. 2. Next eat a healthy breakfast, I like to eat plain oatmeal with no sugar, instead I add protein powder and fruit such as bananas and strawberries. I top it with a little bit of almond milk and that’s it. 3. For lunch I usually eat protein and greens, I like to sauté some kale or spinach and add some vegan meat since I’m a vegan. If I incorporate carbohydrates into lunch I like to add quinoa to my meal or yams. 4. Throughout the day it is important to drink a lot of water not just at the beginning of the day. So I make sure to drink at least 64 ounces a day. 5. I also snack throughout the day. Immediately after my workout I have a protein shake to build back the muscles I have broken down. I also like to snack on fruit and nuts throughout the day. 6. For dinner I eat a little lighter than lunch, I like to sauté some veggies and maybe a protein shake. The main part of this regime is eating healthy, no sugar is ever added to any of my meals and I skip dessert. Workout Push-ups, 3 sets of 15 High knees for 1 minute Burpees, 3 sets of 15 Jump rope for 1 minute Jump squats, 3 sets of 15 Jumping jacks for 1 minute Lunges, 3 sets of 15 on each side Tip: If you complete this workout and still want more, repeat it. If you still need more repeat it again for a total of 3 rounds. Try to do this workout three times a week and continue to add in other workouts the days you don’t do this workout.
