Hi Everyone, Quinoa is an ingredient that I’ve only started experimenting with. Altho I have an inability to pronounce it lol Quinoa is fast becoming my favourite superfood. Quinoa has many benefits – this ancient grain is one of the most protein rich foods you can eat and that it has twice as much fibre as other grains. Like all other grains it’s fairly bland by itself but it comes to life with the addition of yummy herbs, spices and nuts in both sweet and savoury dishes. Lately I’ve been making a variation on traditional porridge loaded with a heap of nuts, dried fruit, chia and sunflower seeds and using quinoa instead of oats. It’s proved to be quite a hit! This is my favourite recipe for Hot Quinoa. It’s so easy to make & can be made with or without coconut milk. . Coconut Milk & Quinoa Porridge: .
