Couple Sells Everything To Travel The World With Their Cat (Photos)

Have you ever thought about ditching everything and setting off on an epic adventure? Well, this couple did just that. Matt and Jessica Johnson left their jobs in 2011, sold their home and their cars, bought a sailboat and hit the water with their cat, Georgie, whom they adopted in 2012. “Our lives were the typical American Dream. Go to school, get married, buy a house, start a career. So far we’ve also left out the part of having 2.5 kids,” they told the Daily Mail. “For too long we had spent all of our weekends in front of the TV without ever doing anything productive or enjoyable. We realised this needed to change.” The couple has a really great understanding of how important it is to live in the present. They say, “We’d also been hearing stories from so many others that had been putting their dream on hold until retirement and for one reason or another until their dreams were no longer attainable." Sure looks like a beautiful adventure! And don't you worry about Georgie. She's adapted to a life on the water and even knows how to swim! Having gone overboard in Grand Cayman, the clever feline swam around to the back of the boat and climbed the ladder! What a lovely little family! If you gave it all up tomorrow and lived your dream, what would you do? Where would you go? h/t: Bored Panda
