Day 15: Half way through, and the hardest workout so far (Natalie)

Day 15 is here! Yay! I woke up this morning so excited to be half way through the challenge. I took my measurements and......I've lost 2.75 inches in total over my body! In two weeks! That's fantastic! I honestly didn't think I would have lost that much in such a short amount of time. I took my half way photos, and although you can't see much of a difference in the photos I certainly can up close in the mirror. In the before photos also I had a tan, and it is well known that a tan shows muscle definition better than pale skin, so my half way photos don't look as good as they would if I still had that tan. That's a good excuse for a holiday if I ever heard one! I've got quite a bit of definition in my stomach already. The photos do show that my stomach is flatter and I have some definition in my shoulders, yay! The little bit of 'podge' at the bottom of my stomach is practically gone! Annoyingly my thighs don't seem to be losing any fat, but it will take time. I WILL get there. I will upload a 'posing picture' in the next few days...these photos are all taken with me relaxing, but you very rarely see a fitness photo of someone relaxing, so I will upload one of me tensing my abs so that you can see how much definition I've achieved in this small amount of time. I'm so excited! By summer I'm going to be in the best shape of my life, and you all are too. We can do this together! My body fat percentage on day 1 was 25.29%, and on day 15 it is 25.23%. Not a great improvement, but at least it is going in the right direction. My aim by the end of the 30 day challenge is to be under 25% as I have been stuck on 25% for years. 1505               004 15/01/14                                                                           29/01/14 1504             014 I LOVED today's workout! It pushed me to my limit! I had to stop for a few seconds to catch my breath a few times throughout. In my opinion it was the hardest workout of the challenge so far. My favourite exercise was the jump squat kick out, this worked my legs so hard that within seconds I was struggling! To be honest every part of today's workout was brilliant! It was my favourite workout on the 30 day challenge so far, and left me feeling exhausted and like I had run a marathon! I feel fantastic from it! I know I am going to be aching tomorrow though.....but boy will it be worth it. The Daily Hiit kicked my butt today! I ate well again today: Breakfast: Porridge Lunch: Shop bought smoothie as I was out all day and forgot to make one to take Dinner: Chicken with peppers, onions and brown rice in soy sauce I'm feeling great today. Knowing that I have reached half way AND that I have lost almost 3 inches over my body is giving me even more motivation to complete the challenge. Happy halfway guys! High five!
