I was really surprised to find that day nine had been declared as a rest day. I had been feeling excited to do my daily workout, and felt a bit disheartened at the thought of not doing one. I decided that it was a bad idea to let my excitement go to waste so I created my own workout for today. I wanted to include what I considered to be the most effective Daily Hiit movements from the 30 day challenge so far so that I could get the best workout possible, rather than letting the motivation to exercise go to waste. My workout consisted of: 50 seconds on, 10 seconds active rest Double high knees during the 10 seconds active rest Walking kick lunges (alternating) Elbow ups Plie squat and clean and press Push up and knee Three times through It broke me! I struggled so much during this workout, but I never gave up. There were times I had to catch my breath, but I kept going. That's what is important, it's ok to take a quick break to catch your breath, but it's not ok to quit the workout completely. I ate well today: Breakfast: Porridge Lunch: Soup Dinner: Homemade meatballs and mashed sweet potato with green beans and carrots It's been a good day, and I'm ready for tomorrow to get back into the challenge again.
