Delicious Stove Top Brussel Sprouts

Forget the oven! Makes these tasty brussel sprouts-yes, I did say TASTY-in a pan instead. Ingredients
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 pound of brussel sprouts
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
  1. Heat olive oil in a cast-iron skillet over medium heat until the oil shimmers.
  2. Add Brussels sprouts to the skillet and cook without stirring until the undersides of the sprouts turn golden brown, 5 to 7 minutes.
  3. Stir to turn sprouts over, and cook other sides until golden brown, another 5 to 7 minutes.
  4. Season with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
