Demi Lovato Reveals How She Learned To Love Her Curves

As many of us know all too well, it can be hard to love your body. Many of us have spent our lives being too 'fat' or 'too' thin. Never feeling right, always feeling displaced. Celebrities are no exception to these feelings. Demi Lovato has not been shy when it comes to her very real battle with bulimia. It sounds like a loving, respectful partner has been a big part of her healing journey. In 2010, Lovato spent three months in rehab to treat her eating disorder and self harming issues and she credits her boyfriend of 5 years, Wilmer Valderrama, with helping to keep her healthy. It certainly hasn't been an easy journey. Lovato admits that she almost had to go back to rehab last summer. She said, "I was obsessing over food and terrified of it at the same time. Wilmer noticed and called me out on it, which was a relief." Over the weekend, Lovato posted this image to her Instagram account: de She captioned it: "Learn to lurrrrrvveee yerrrrr currrrrvveees... I actually used to hate them... But then a special someone helped me learn how to love them... And he sure loves them.... #squats #COOLFORTHESUMMER" It is never easy to overcome body image struggles but this just goes to show that with the right supports, you can at least start the healing. Do you have someone in your life that helped you to see your way to healthier thinking? We'd love to hear your story. Share with us!
