Did Britney Spears Photoshop Her Poolside Bikini Pic?

Sunday evening, Britney Spears released an incredible photo of herself in a bikini, lounging beside the pool. The Instagram snap showed the sun bathing beauty looking incredibly svelte and toned. [caption id="attachment_126511" align="alignnone" width="951"]britney (Photo: Britney Spears/Instagram)[/caption] She looks incredible, right? The pic racked up over 170,000 likes but it didn't take long for people to chime in with a whole host of negative comments. Some of Spears' followers have accused her of photoshopping the arch in her back to make herself appear thinner. Fans have noticed that there appears to be an inconsistency when it comes to the pool's edge, saying things like "The gap in your back should be stone, not water. Bad photoshop," and "It doesn't look real. She's beautiful but there's something wrong with the pool's border." [caption id="attachment_126512" align="alignnone" width="900"]britney2 (Photo: Britney Spears/Instagram)[/caption] There were some quick to defend Spears, firing back with comments like "You people realise it is pavement under her back right? It's just her shadow that made it look darker." Others have mentioned the incredibly intense and physically demanding schedule that exists around her Las Vegas residency, suggesting that she's been working hard for that body. If Spears did photoshop this pic, can you really blame her? Her entire life has played out in front of our eyes and we've been ready to pounce on any perceived imperfection. Just last year, Spears was fat shamed while filming a music video with Iggy Azalea. She was even called a "fat b*tch" by a heckler during one of her Vegas shows! [bctt tweet="Did Britney Spears Photoshop Her Poolside Bikini Pic?"] You can't deny that Spears has worked her body into incredible form. Through diet, exercise, yoga, and meditation, Spears has built a strong, toned physique (need help with your diet? Check out the BodyRock Meal Plan). Look at her legs! You can't ignore her efforts. But maybe just this once, she wanted to avoid hearing people tell her how horrible she looks. Or, maybe the photo isn't altered at all. That could very well be a shadow on the concrete. If this is the case, how sad are we? Can we not just accept that someone has worked hard and achieved what so many hope for? Sure, photoshopping your body to appear thinner sets a horrible example, but so does fat shaming someone who doesn't. And to be honest, slamming someone for photoshopping a pic that may not be photoshopped isn't much better. In both cases, we are telling someone that their body is wrong. None of our bodies are wrong. Do you think this is a doctored photo? Has Spears lost all credibility as a fitspo figurehead? Tell us what you are thinking! Source: Daily Mail
