DIY 3 Ingredient Natural Deodorant

I read an article on the top 5 chemicals in deodorants these days and it shocked the hell out of me. According to the article by Natural News, "The primary ingredient used in most antiperspirants is aluminum. Aluminum is a metal, which is used in antiperspirants to help block the sweat from escaping the pores. Aluminum has been linked to breast cancer in women and has also been linked to an increased risk of Alzheimer's disease." Yikes. So, I decided to make my own! 0 (1)   Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup baking soda
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1 cup coconut oil
*If you want some scent, add in a few drops of an essential oil scent that you love! Directions:
  1. Melt your coconut oil in a medium sized mixing bowl.
  2. Carefully stir in cornstarch and baking soda, mixing well.
  3. Store in an air tight container or an old deodorant tube.
