DIY Nutty Body Butter

So, I saw a picture of a body butter bar with coffee beans molded right into it, which would be awesome for exfoliating with my moisturizing. After clicking on the picture though it was just where I could go to buy this, but I wanted to make my own, sooooo… I did! What you need:
  • 5 oz cocoa butter
  • 5 oz beeswax
  • 5 oz almond oil (3 tbsp)
  • 1 tsp. argan oil
  • A few drops vitamin E oil (optional)
  • Handful of coffee beans
  • A double boiler (or two similarly sized pots)
  • Body bar molds (muffin tins, ice cube trays, jars, etc.)
nuttybodybar Instructions:
  1. In the double boiler, melt the beeswax and cocoa butter on low heat, stirring to combine.
  2. Once melted, add in the oils. Stir until combined, then remove from heat and let cool a few minutes.
  3. Sprinkle the coffee beans into the base of your molds, then pour the mixture into molds and let cool, a few hours. Pop them out and moisturize your heart out.
nuttybodybar2 For molds I tried using the lids of mason jars this time, because I thought that once it had cooled it would be easy to pop out the bottom, and it kinda worked. I still think muffin wrappers are the way to go though.
