Do It Yourself Granola

Workout daily? Booming metabolism? Hungry all the time? This week I found myself hungry at work all the time. I am trying to get my six-pack for the Fourth of July so I am working out daily and my metabolism is on overdrive. I try to bring my own snacks to work but this week my daily banana just wasn't cutting it. I love granola and would love to snack on that but it seems the granola market is filled with artificial sweeteners and natural flavors that are anything but natural. I decided to take matters into my own hands and make my own granola that I could snack on all day at work and not feel guilty. Since abs are made in the kitchen it just makes sense I make my own healthy granola. I wanted to use nuts in my granola because they are a good source of fat. I chose Almonds and Pepitas also known as pumpkin seeds. Why Almonds? Almonds are a healthy snack that deliver high energy in small servings. They have 21% protein content and are also high in fiber. Why Pepitas? Pepitas boost your intake of Iron, Zinc, Copper and Phosphorus. One ounce of Pepitas has 8.5 grams of protein in it. I also am completely addicted to Dates right now so I added them as well. Why Dates? Dates are rich in dietary fiber, protein and vitamins such as A, B and C. Dates are natural energy boosters and low in calories so they make the perfect addition to this granola.   DIY (Do It Yourself) Granola What you'll need: 1 1/2 Cups of Oats (gluten free if possible) 1/2 Cup of Raw Almonds 1/2 Cup of Raw Pepitas (pumpkin seeds) 1 Cup of Dates (cut into thirds) 1/4 Cup of Maple Syrup 2 Tbsp. Coconut Oil 2 Tbsp. of Cinnamon 1 Pinch of Salt   Preheat the oven at 350 degrees. Mix dry ingredients first then add wet ingredients. Mix well with your hands or a spoon. Place in a 8x8 pan or a similar size pan. Spray pan with Coconut Oil. Bake for 35 minutes, stir the mixture once during baking.   Enjoy in the morning for breakfast, or as a snack at work.

We ship within Canada and the United States via FedEx with expedited 2-Day shipping.

For locations outside of the US and Canada, we ship using FedEx International, which is usually in transit for 5-7 business days, depending on location.

We ship all of our physical products with FedEx, from our warehouse location in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. Signatures are required on all orders.

Returns & Exchanges

BodyRock Equipment

We offer a 30-day return policy, as long as: it is not more than 30 days past the date of delivery; and your item is in its original condition and packaging with the original order number. Refunds will be issued when the equipment is received back to the BodyRock warehouse, minus the original cost of shipping, and the customer is responsible for the costs of return shipping. To request a refund on physical product purchases, please contact us.

Digital Products

We cannot issue refunds on digital goods such as e-books or videos, as these are non-tangible goods that are irrevocable once the order is placed.
