Don't Let Acne And Boils Become A Pain In Your Butt, Zap Them With These Home Remedies

The vast majority of us spend a large portion of our days sitting. This means that anything that goes wrong with the skin on our buttocks can make our lives a nightmare. When acne and boils appear on the derriere, they are subjected to constant pressure and irritation which can make them inflamed and painful. Acne forms when dirt and moisture gets trapped inside our clothing and the friction from sitting forces it inside the skin. Treating acne and boils on the behind might take some time since the area is under almost constant pressure which can slow the healing process. But, if you are too shy to talk to someone about this problem, we've got some home remedies that should do the trick!

1. Aspirin Mask

Crush 4 aspirin tablets into a powder. Mix the powder into 1 tablespoon of water and then add 1 tablespoon of honey. Apply this mixture to your buttocks and leave for 15 minutes. Then rinse off. This should treat the skin and help clear the acne.

2. Lemon Juice And Apple Cider Vinegar

Mix 1 tablespoon of lemon juice with 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar and half a cup of water. Rinse with this solution twice a day. This is a tried and true method for many people.

3. Tea Tree Oil And Coconut Oil

Mix together, 1 potableness each of tea tree oil and coconut oil. Apply to the buttocks and leave for 15 minutes. Alternately, you can put this on before bed and leave it overnight. The oils contain both antibacterial and antifungal properties.

4. Ice Cubes

Rub an ice cube on the acne or boil for 5 minutes. This is an incredible way to reduce the inflammation and therefore relieve some of the pain.

5. Exfoliate The Skin

To prevent acne and boils, scrub your butt with a loofah or a paste made from sugar and oats. This will remove the trapped dirt and sweat, helping you to avoid the problem before it even starts.

6. Get Some Sun

If you have a private room in your home that gets a lot of sun, try exposing your hind quarters to the sun for about 20 minutes. It will dry up the area and help clear the spots. Just be careful though, too much sun isn't good for anyone!

7. Change Your Underwear Regularly

Your underwear can be a hot spot for bacteria growth. Bacteria and dirt can lead to acne and boils. So, wash your bum as often as you can and make sure you are always wearing a fresh pair of undies. Have you tried any of these remedies in the past? How'd they work for you? Source: BoldSky
