Drink This, Recover Quicker: Post Workout Smoothie
Ingredients:
1 Scoop of Vega One or Vega Performance Protein (or your choice of protein powder)
1/2 of a banana
1/2 cup of berries (fresh or frozen)
1/2 cup of ice
1 cup of coconut water, water, or milk alternative (like almond milk)
Optional Boosts: (choose one)
1/2 avocado, or 1 cup fresh spinach, or 1 tbsp. cocoa
Directions:
Blend all ingredients for a delicious all-in-one nutritional smoothie. Enjoy!
Note to gym-goers: If you take your workouts to the gym, do what I do: Bring a single serving packet of Vega Performance Protein (sold a most health food stores) and shake it up in your water bottle immediately after your workout. It's JUST what the body craves after a hard workout!
Doing this promotes recovery so you can train again sooner!
