Eating for a Low Carb Day

It is no secret how eating low carbs can work wonders on shaping your body up. Don't get me wrong-carbs are wonderful-just the right ones. We often get asked what a low-carb diet looks like. What-I-eat-meme Here is a sample of a daily low-carb menu perfect for a 25 year old  female weighing in at 130lbs at 5 foot 6 inches tall who is moderately active and wanting to maintain their current weight. Please note that caloric intake will vary based on your age, weight, height, and activity level. Breakfast
  • 5 egg whites
  • 1/2 cup oatmeal with 1/2 cup almond milk
Snack
  • 2 scoops protein powder
  • 1 tbsp. peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup almond milk
Lunch
  • 1 grilled chicken breast
  • 2 cups spinach leaves
  • 1 boiled egg, chopped
  • 1 tsp lite balsamic dressing
Snack
  • 1 cup Greek plain yogurt
  • 1 tbsp. peanut butter
Dinner 
  • 1 filet salmon
  • 1/2 cup brown rice
  • 2 cups spinach leaves
  • 1 tsp lite sesame ginger dressing
Snack
  • 2 scoops protein powder
  • 1/2 cup almond milk
