Energy Flow - How to Practice a Headstand

A wise man once wrote that life was never meant to be a struggle. Struggle and frustration are a slippery slope. If you don't catch yourself it's easy to slide into a really unhappy place, and if you leave it long enough this can lead into pretty dark waters - anxiety and depression being common ones. Life is full of problems. I'm pretty sure that you can remember a serious drama from high school that seemed like the end of the world at the time, but seems utterly silly now. Time will likely ease whatever difficulty we might be experiencing now - broken hearts mend, bills get paid, car keys get found, a rude comment on your Facebook gets deleted and on and on. Our natural reaction is to get caught up in a tornado of emotion which sets us off balance and burns an enormous amount of energy. I don't know about you but if I get caught up in a tit-for-tat with someone I get physically exhausted. Why burn the fuel? What we need to do instead is place our focus on being grateful. Between emotion and gratitude saying thank you for your blessings will always ground you and serve you best. It's a discipline that not many of us have practiced -  myself included. Let's put our energy into be thankful and into an extra rep or two in our workouts. Invest it into a positive place.

Enjoy today's flow - we will be back with a killer workout for you guys tomorrow.
