EOS Lip Balms Being Sued For Leaving Customers' Lips A Blistery Mess
The wildly popular egg-shaped lip balm, EOS, has found itself in a little bit of hot water. The brand that has been touted by the likes of Britney Spears, Miley Cyrus and Kim Kardashian has left some customers with less than desirable results.
Rachel Cronin has filed a class action lawsuit claiming it caused a "severe reaction." This reaction included "severe rashes, bleeding, blistering, cracking and loss of pigmentation."
Cronin claims that within just a few hours of applying the lip balm, her lips felt like "sandpaper" so she applied it again. It was then that her "lips started cracking, flaking and bleeding, creating blisters and rashes which lasted 10 days."

Mark Geragos, the lawyer who filed the suit, is seeking damages and corrected advertising and formulation.
EOS has responded to the accusations in the lawsuit with the following statement:

The health and well-being of our customers is our top priority and millions of satisfied customers use our products every day, many of whom take the time to share their experiences with us."It will be interesting to see how this plays out! What do you think of the story? Do you think the company should be held accountable for this reaction or do you think one should just discontinue use and call it a day?
