Experts Say This Is What Your Face Shape Says About You
Did you know that the shape of your face can actually reveal basic personality traits, as well as what your overall approach to life is? Face-reading experts say there's more to your shape than you know.
"Your face is saying something," expert Jean Haner, author of The Wisdom Of Your Face, told Cosmopolitan. "You're born with with features you have for a reason. The face is a map of your personality as well as your whole life."
Have a diamond-shaped face like Taylor Swift? "This refers to someone who likes to take control and wants things a certain way," Haner told Elle UK. "They're also very detail-oriented and because of that they produce quality work." She also explains that those with a diamond-shaped face, which is characterized by being pointed towards the forehead and chin, yet wide in the middle, "communicates well" and is "precise" with their words. But if they're crossed the wrong way, it could lead to them being "sharp."
Have an oval-shaped face like that of Beyonce? It means you are methodical, practical and perhaps an overachiever. "This person always knows all the right things to say, so they can make someone feel welcome and comfortable," said Haner.
A triangle-shaped face makes way for a creative, artistic and sensitive person who also tends to be fiery. "This shape means you usually want to be in charge,' said Haner. "And the more narrow the forehead is toward the top of the person's head, the more they have to be in control."
Someone with a square-shaped face tends to possess a sharp wit and analytical mind. "It typically refers to someone who is really gung-ho and into taking on huge projects because they have so much stamina," said Haner.
Those with heart-shaped faces might be pushy and creative with a strong intuition. "It speaks to someone who has incredible inner strength but can also be stubborn because they are so strong-minded," said Haner. "They're like little energizer bunnies. But their strength is not from stamina, it's about inner power."
Of a rectangle-shaped face Haner said, "They're usually planners in some way and don't often talk about their feelings. However, they do workout regularly—they have to work off inner tension that results from constantly living in their own heads."
