Whether you actually believe that our eyes are the window to our soul or not, it does seem possible that you can take a look into someone’s eyes and perhaps be able to gauge their emotion and mood. Despite the fact that our eyes all perform the same function, there are great variances in not just colour, but also as to whether we perceive to have a warm or cold personality simply by the appearance of our eyes. The colour of another person’s eyes can often be what attracts us to them in the first place and it might also reveal something about their personality, too. People with brown eyes are considered to be attractive and confident, and those blessed with a pair of green eyes, might well be viewed as someone who is mysterious and passionate in equal measure. Of course, some people refer to green eyes as a display of jealousy or envy, but if you were born with this eye colour, it is not easy to construct an argument to suggest that your personality has already been determined, simply by your eye colour. Green eyes are a rarity in comparison, with a mere 2% of us having that eye colour.  The surprising figure may well be that despite blue eyes being considered as a regular feature amongst many of us, the reality is that only 8% actually have blue eyes. There might also be some truth in the debate about eye colour and personality, as scientists in Sweden have demonstrated that iris patterns are connected to personality traits, although predicting which ones, is still a work in progress.
