Female Comedian Posts YouTube Rant About Why 'Obese People' Deserve to be 'Shamed' for their 'Bad Habits and Overeating'
Love her or hate her, the 30-year-old Youtube comedian has finally achieved viral success with her most controversial video to date - Dear Fat People. Nicole Arbour condones the shaming of overweight people, and has a 'helpful' and 'poignant' message to them: "You are too fat, and you should stop eating." Nicole goes on to say that, "Fat shaming is not a thing. Fat people made that up. Obesity is a disease? Yeah, so is being a shopaholic - but I don't get a f***king parking pass. It would make a lot of sense if I did. I am the one with all of the bags." "They forgot to tell you that plus-size stands for plus heart disease, plus knee problems, plus diabetes, plus your family and friends crying that they lost you too soon because you needed to have a Coke plus fries." she adds. It has also inspired a lot of high-profile plus-sized stars to respond. "She doesn't deserve our clicks or our energy." plus-sized model Tess Holiday tweeted. "Fat-shaming is a thing; it's a really big thing, no pun intended. It is the really nasty spawn of a larger parent problem called body-shaming, which I'm fairly certain everyone on the planet, especially women, has experienced." explained TLC reality star Whitney Thore in a response video. Nicole is the first Youtube comedian to be policed by the video sharing site, after 18 million people viewed her controversial video and it received numerous complaints. "There are graphic videos of murder and torture, but satire is [not allowed on Youtube]." Nicole tweeted about the censorship. Sound off in the comments! Is Nicole's video really satire or is it totally offensive? What are your thoughts on fat shaming? Source: Daily Mail Do you follow us on Instagram?
