It is that time of the year again-runny noses, sneezing, and coughs-oh my! We have a natural remedy that is safe for the whole entire family to prevent sickness from entering your home.
There are 4 powerful ingredients that are responsible for keeping you well this season:
Lemons are rich in vitamin C and flavonoids that work against infections like the flu and colds.
Turmeric has powerful anti-inflammatory effects and is a very strong antioxidant.
Cayenne pepper aids in breaking up and moving congested mucus. Once mucus begins to leave the body, relief from flu symptoms generally follows.
Honey reacts with the body’s fluids to make hydrogen peroxide, creating an inhospitable environment for bacteria.
Here’s what you need:

- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- pinch of cayenne pepper
- 2 tbsp. raw honey
- 1 lemon, juiced
- About a 1/4 cup of water
- Mix everything together in a cup.
