Follow These Tips To Prepare Yourself For An Incredible Workout!
No matter how many years you've been working out, the difference between a good and bad workout can lie in the preparation. Think about it: if you aren't prepared -- mentally, emotionally, or physically -- you won't be able to give all you've got to your workout!
Use these tips to make sure you are on top of your game, each and every time you workout!

1. Have a plan
Before you hit the gym, know what you'll be doing. Nothing stands in the way of progress quite like wandering around, scratching your head and thinking "gee, where should I begin?" Eliminate confusion before you begin! If planning isn't your strong suit, let someone else do it for you! With Sweatflix℠, you will have access to over 115 hours of BodyRock workouts to suit all fitness levels and enough variety that you will never get bored! You can easily take these workouts anywhere you go. Take them with you on vacation or take your sweat session outdoors! Learn more here!2. Get the right gear
Always dress for the occasion. Wear clothing that is suitable to the workout you are going to be doing. If it is warm, wear clothes that will breathe. If it is cooler, wear an extra layer or two that you can easily remove should you get too warm. It is also important to make sure that your clothes won't chafe. Check the seams to make sure they won't rub you the wrong way and try to find material that won't leave you soaked in sweat (Looking for new gear? Head here!). You want clothes that will allow you a full range of motion. You don't want to get to yoga class only to find out that your pants make Warrior One impossible! When it comes to footwear, look for something that will offer you good support and the proper traction for surface you'll be working on.
3. Fuel your body
Your body needs fuel to function at its best in all activities but this is especially true of your workouts. Be sure to grab a small snack before you start your sweat session. A good pre-workout snack consists of carbs and a bit of protein. If you've had a large meal, it is best to give yourself a few hours to digest. You don't want to feel sluggish or sick in the middle of your workout.4. Don't forget the water!
Staying hydrated is essential. When you sweat, your body is losing water so be sure that you drink lots before your workout and keep some on hand during. If you've had a particularly tough workout, be sure to drink lots of water afterward! Dehydration does scary things to your body!
