Food To Be Fit: Perfect Pumpkin Porridge

I completely came across this recipe by accident...I had some leftover pumpkin puree and wanted to see what it tasted like warmed up. It tasted great, but just wasn't filling enough. I added some oat flour and topped it all off with some tasty other ingredients...voila! Hope you enjoy!!! DSC_1459


  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 tsp cinammon
  • 1/4 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/4 cup oat flour
  • 1/2 tsp ground flax seed
  • 1 tbsp raw almonds
  • 1/2 tsp chia seeds
  • 1/2 tsp unsweetened coconutDSC_1462
  • 1 tsp goji berries
  • 1 tsp pumpkin seeds
  • 1/2 tbsp dark chocolate chips


  1. Simmer pumpkin puree, oat flour, and pumpkin pie spice on low until hot.DSC_1471
  2. Place in a bowl and garnish with cinnamon, raw almonds, chia seeds, unsweetened coconut, goji berries, pumpkin seeds & chocolate chips.
