Food Villains #14: Wraps
Most people think that wraps are the healthy alternative to a sandwich, but rarely is that the case!
A hearty sandwich is often served on white bread, which offers far too many calories for a conscientious eater. A tortilla wrap, on the other hand, is usually served in a white flour tortilla, which is made with about 1/3rd the calories of a big sandwich.
However, just because the starch is lower in calories, that doesn't mean the fillings are!
