Most people would answer with get disciplined instead.... but how do you get disciplined if you cannot get motivated??? We all know motivation is wavering... and if we depend entirely on motivation most of us will fail as soon as it gets hard. When the motivation finally disappears, we quit. When you look at the people that reach their goals, mostly it comes down to consistency and being disciplined. However all said and done, you may still be convinced that you need some type of motivation to get stuff done.... and some days I do to. We are all human and need a little help sometimes.... Firstly you must realize that working out is one thing you can control. It is a variable that is not outside your circumstances, it is within your grasp and that is why fitness is an excellent discipline to obtain....but the question is how do we obtain discipline? We must change our pain and pleasure principles making working out more pleasurable then not working out and not working out more painful then working out.... so the question is still.. If you think working out is 'too difficult/hard', start taking cold showers every day for 21 days. It will be the hardest thing you do all day and you will start to realize how irrelevant your excuses really are.
