Ginger-Banana Smoothie Bliss

Having a bit of tummy trouble? Then we’ve got one of the best smoothie recipes for you. Our Ginger-Banana Bliss brings the anti-nausea benefits of ginger together with the natural antacid effects of banana. This smoothie is a little too light to be used as a meal substitute, but it is a perfect nutritious snack - especially right before a workout.

You’ll need:

1 sliced banana 3/4 cup vanilla yogurt (use nonfat vanilla greek yogurt to up your protein - and watch the sugar content of your yogurt. If you want, you can use plain yogurt and a dash of vanilla extract.) 1 tablespoon of honey ½ teaspoon of freshly grated ginger ¼ to ½ cup water Throw these ingredients in the blender and send them for a spin. Once they’re mixed thoroughly, pour and enjoy! Quick tip: Add ice to thicken your smoothie.
