So savor some chicken for lunch atop a kale and spinach salad, which are packed with fiber and antioxidants. Add a side of grapefruit, which is known to aid the release of all the nutrients your body needs from those healthy greens.
3. Beef Tenderloin, Broccoli and Sweet Potato
Along with being a good source of protein, beef is a proven metabolic powerhouse. Eat it with dark green veggies and a fiber-filled sweet potato to help aid in muscle recovery post workout.
4. Cottage Cheese, Blueberries and Chia Seeds
If you eat dinner early enough, chances are your stomach is starting to grumble a couple hours before you hit the hay. But don't opt for the ice cream or the chips just yet. Try some cottage cheese, which is a low-fat, slow digesting protein. Add some blueberries for a healthy dose of antioxidants, and top it all off with a sprinkle of chia seeds, which are known to reduce the appetite.
