Good Fats Vs Bad Fats.
Fat has a pretty bad reputation in the dieting world. The truth is that not all fats are bad for you. In fact, fat makes up an extremely important part of a healthy and balanced diet. Unfortunately, the point that is not highlighted often enough is what kinds of fats are healthy for you, and which ones are not.
Simply put, fat can be healthy (monosaturated and polysaturated) or unhealthy (saturated and trans).
So what are some healthy fats?
This is the part that excites me because healthy fats are delicious!

- sesame Oil
- Seeds & Nuts
- Olives
- Peanut Butter
- Almond Butter
- Fish (Salmon, mackerel)
- Avocado

- Dark Chocolate (at least 70% + Cocoa)
- Fatty meats
- Lard
- Most Dairy (Butter, cream, full milk, ice-cream)
- Deep fried foods
- Sweets and pastries (doughnuts, cakes, muffins)
- Packaged snacks (chips, crackers)
