"Gym Free" Day 3- Shameless Selfies
Had to rep my San Francisco Giants hat! On to other things...
Lets face it smart phones and instagram have turned us all into mini photographers and I'm NOT hatin. Selfies can be a great way to track your progress and keep your motivation GOING! Plus you can do it while no one's watching..or NOT ;)
I went to bed early and woke up early! Yes, so much better than yesterday. My workout was waiting for me so before I could talk myself out of it, I Hiit it. WOW! This was a great workout. I found the active rest challenging as I became more breathless BUT that's the point, its supposed to be hard. I felt very invigorated afterwards which is another reason why I love morning workouts!
Post-Workout meal was "Pumpkin Spice" Shake and I added a little cinnamon. My appetite is still pretty low but I am going to continue listening to my hunger cues.
I had a little bit of a reflection in the shower today- I felt so grateful to be alive and happy that I have fought through my own internal battles. There once was a time where I would give myself a million excuses why I wasn't or couldn't do something. I was really just running away from myself and trying to find outside fixes, it never worked. I've spent a lot of years chasing things, people, money and in the process it caused me to chase away the people that I loved the most.
We all learn right? Don't run away from YOU. Look at yourself in the mirror and promise your soul that this time is DIFFERENT. You will NOT run away from yourself and you WON'T make anymore excuses.
Don't forget to drink lots of H2O. Happy training. Britney G
