"gym free" Day 7- the power of a healthy self image

ITS THE END OF WEEK ONE! How exciting we are 1/4 of the way through. How are you feeling? You should be feeling different and hopefully seeing some changes. If you are not physically seeing a difference DO NOT worry please keep going. These things do not magically happen overnight but with patience and persistence you will feel and look better. I was nervous about my breakup with the gym. I feared that I'd reverse any progress that I have gained in the last 3 years. I'm not going to let my Fear stop me from finishing this challenge because I know that if I give my 100% I will see changes. I stepped on the scale and I am just under 120 lbs; my goal was not to lose weight but I am TRUSTING the process and will follow through with my promise to be "gym free". @itzbritneyg

Self Worth

I started working out for a number of reasons but none of them were to regain my "self esteem", I didn't know it was gone. That's exactly what I've gained and have built a strong foundation that has allowed me to LOVE myself. I don't know if any of you have ever felt hate towards yourself ? Maybe you don't like the way you look? Or don't like the way others receive you?

If this is you-

I want you to write down one thing that you LOVE about yourself. Find it and claim it. A positive self image will allow you to see things that you never noticed before and give you that confidence to try things that you FEAR. I like the symmetry in my face. I don't think I've ever realized my beauty unless its pointed out to me by others but I have grown to love my facial structure. I used to feel that my face was a curse because of how others treated me or how girls received me growing up BUT I've thrown that out. It's OK to love things about yourself because when you do it allows others to do the same. Cheerio Lovelies, Britney G
